TMP is a resident of Chepstow in the far lower right hand corner of Wales. First and foremost TMP is a wanderer and Fell walker who just happens to carry a camera. Sometimes, just sometimes, TMP arrives at a scene just when God is ready for someone to push the shutter button. TMP is entranced by the beauty of the Wye Valley, the Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia and Cumbria. TMP isn’t interested in all that photographic pscycho-babble. TMP sees it, TMP shoots it.
Often TMP shoots abstract arty-farty blurry black and white things and Cats.
When shooting Monochrome TMP loves bokeh, shallow depth of field, blur, patterns and shapes in blurred backgrounds, the fall of light, strong biting contrast, deep shadows, and texture.
